¿What is an All-on-4, or All-on-6, or All-on-x?

What are zygomatic implants?
Zygomatic implants: They are long Implants that are fixed in the zygomatic bone (cheekbone) instead of the upper jaw. They allow anchoring of complete prostheses when the maxilla is highly resorbed.

What are pterygoid implants?
Pterygoid Implants: They are placed towards the back of the maxilla, anchoring in the pterygoid process ( a deeper and more solid area). They also function as remote anchorage when there is a lack of bone in a dental arch.
¿Why are they used as remote anchorage in “full arch” rehabilitations?
In atrophic maxillae (with little bone), These implants provide support and stability without the need for long bone grafts or multiple surgeries. With them, it is possible to fix a complete prosthesis (upper and lower arch) with early or immediate loading in many cases.

¿What is a dental implant?
It is a surgical titanium screw that is placed in the maxillary or mandibular bone to replace a lost tooth.
on the implant, a crown, bridge or prosthesis is placed that recreates the function and the appearance of the natural tooth.
¿How long does the all-on-4 treatment take?
he first step is to schedule an evaluation appointment, during which the specialist doctor in implantology will examine you and request a radiographic study (CT scan)
to assess the condition of your bone and thus plan your surgery digitally, which ensures a safer and more precise placement of your dental implants. This study is done at our facilities; you do not have to go anywhere else. We will also perform intraoral and facial scans.
Second appointment: during this appointment, we perform the surgery in which we extract any remaining teeth, in case extractions are needed, your dental implants are placed, and sutures are applied. Also, at the end of the surgery, an intraoral scan with photogrammetry (the most advanced technology to obtain exact results for your prosthesis) is taken to create your provisional prosthesis, which will be delivered in less than 72 hours
